Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Time and again our nation has set visionary goals and mobilized the creativity and resources to achieve them. Today, former Vice President Al Gore challenged our nation to fundamentally change the way we get our energy. This is just the type of bold, visionary change we need to move America from unstable, dirty energy sources to the clean, homegrown energy sources of the future.
By tapping into America’s technological know-how to use our energy more efficiently and shift to renewable energy sources, we can help reinvigorate our economy, break our dependence on scarce fossil fuels, and prevent the worst effects of global warming.
We applaud the former Vice President and look forward to working with him to make this vision a reality.
